History

Small & Strong: Banjin is lithe, lightweight, and overall soft in appearance. He has a shorter stature, even for a Viera, and with his thin frame he hardly looks the part of a warrior. His pretty features well advertise his elegance, but not his strength. With his Bonded Weapon drawn, Banjin’s strength becomes baffling when compared to his elegance.
Elegant & Delicate: A young adult boasting a pretty face, and gem-like eyes; one pink, one purple. Dusty brown/blonde hair and furry ears all tipped with a sparkling golden blonde. His lagomorphic ears droop and often fall in line with his hair. His looks would befit a model, were he not a mercenary.
Soft-spoken & Gentle: Banjin speaks when spoken to, and holds a tone of etiquette whenever possible. When able to relax, his ‘at ease’ manner of speaking reveals much about him. His unique way of thinking and naive mindset make him hard to read in one category, and predictable in the next.
Poise & Respect: Falling in line with his soft-spoken demeanor, Banjin regard others humbly and often offers respect until proven otherwise required. Anxious as he is, he makes honest effort to behave and be kind with little to no expectations set in return. After all, this world feels unfamiliar to him, what right would he have to treat those who’ve lived here poorly?
Combat Witness: Despite his gentle heart, Banjin befits his namesake when seen in action. With the mighty Bonded Weapon Kyoukiyama at his side, his Aether amplifies the impact of his attacks. Whether it take the form of an ornamented Slimsword, or the destructive edge of a Katana, Banjin's combat potency is nothing to underestimate...

Banjin awoke within a world he did not recognize. His escape from his magitech prison was witnessed by rebel forces attacking his Imperial captors by chance occasion. A flash of vermillion and golden energy, bright bursts of powerful aether tore his prison to pieces, and the explosion drew the fight to Banjin. His freedom from captivity was met by imperial resistance, and Banjin found himself fleeing a warzone with nothing more than stolen supplies and a trail of the broken bodies of those who barred his way. He had no knowledge of these people, these armies, these cities. Nothing was familiar, but what Banjin did recognize was how to navigate a fight.. A battlefield. How to escape the enemy, and how to survive no matter the odds.Banjin was briefly seen as an aid to the rebel efforts in one of the many violent conflict against Imperial Forces. He was briefly witnessed by a handful of rebel factions, but vanished soon after he was able to escape the frontlines along with everything he stole to secure himself. He had little knowledge of his rescuers, and chose to take what he could and flee at his first opportunity, after peacefully working alongside them to clear a path out of the occupied city he awoke trapped in. What rumors lay in his wake floated from soldier to soldier; speaking of the elegant man who drew a blade from thin air, who’s strike tore through metal and shattered stone.. Whatever stories laid in Banjin’s wake, more followed as he wandered Eorzea; lost to the world only briefly. Stories of employment at the Golden Saucer meet with tales of a Viera man traveling with little company in tow, as Banjin took his time acclimating to the world.Eventually he would come to remove his hood, his masks, allowing his ears to show and shine as he himself stepped into Eorzea. Slowly but surely, Banjin began to carve out a sense of home, thanks to the efforts of many...
